Forest Adventures in Amarkantak Valley - Temples, Trails & Tribals in Chattisgarh, India

You have 2 to 4 days

Day 01

Arrival Bilaspur. Pick up from the Railway Station. Transfer to Start for Sal Valley Resort nestled on fringes of Amarkantak Achanakmar Biosphere Reserve (website: www.wildamarkantak.com) (95 kms/2 hrs). Arrival Sal Valley Resort, check in to the resort. Enjoy lunch in the restaurant and do rest for sometime, before you explore evening Jungle Drive if time permits. Dinner and overnight at the resort.

Day 02

Rise early and start for jungle safari in open jeep for 2 hrs of excursion and wilderness experience or you can avail nature walk with our naturalist around the hill forest in the morning. After breakfast, full day excursion to Amarkantak Hill station and Holy destination, the origin of River Narmada enjoy pack lunch on the bank of the river and spend day exploring places and by sunset drive back to resort and enjoy camp fire dinner and rest.

Day 03

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Bilaspur for departure for your schedule train.  2 Days and 2 Night Trip Ends here.

Extended Eco Holiday

Day 03

After early rise and Breakfast start for Chaiturgarh Hills, do visit the enroute destinations Ratanpur temple and Pali and proceed to explore beautiful forest covered hills and their stands the 9th century temple place also known as Lafagarh, spend whole day, enjoy pack lunch and scenic valley, before you drive back to resort by evening and relax, have dinner and overnight at resort.

Day 04

After early breakfast and splendid morning, start for Karanga Ghat, enjoy the drive with tribal life and water bodies on the road side, we would like to take to you the beautiful waterfall in the most remote forest area, the place is called Satkhandi Caves, where the sunlight passes through and give you nice scenic experience, you will be served picnic lunch here and if time permits we will explore Majestic hills, these are series of hill with great landscape, specially in the winters and rains, you will drive back to resort by evening and enjoy your evening with tea and snacks and followed by dinner and overnight stay at resort.

Day 05

After breakfast, check out and drive back to Bilaspur for departure for your schedule train.  4 Days and 4 Night Trip Ends here.
